ABOUT
The Environmental Task Force is a new initiative of 2020, among three other task forces, that is part of the Special Issues Department of the Montgomery County Regional Student Government Association (MCR-SGA - www.mcrsga.com). It is coordinated by Srihitha Akula, a sophomore at Northwest High School, and Advika Agarwal, a freshman at Richard Montgomery.
Our 25 members across MCPS high schools are dedicated to raising awareness of various aspects of our environment and mobilizing MoCo students to advocate for environmental issues. We complete service projects and explore local policy issues that can be changed by students organizing.
